Ethics and Decision Making

Guuuuysss, I honestly think this class is going to be the death of me!!

We get in this circle, the teacher brings up a topic and we share out opinion.
It wouldn't be so bad, but I'm in a class of 30 females, and 1 male.
And you know us girls, we are always right--about everything.

I have to write a one page opinion paper each week on subjects like abortion and same sex marriage. Then the fallowing week I have to read it out loud. I like keeping my opinions to myself,--or you know, on here, it's safer that way.-shrugs-

And while I'm on this subject, I'll just tell you all one thing I really hate about close minded people:

When you get onto the subject of gays and lesbians ( Which was pretty much avoided yesterday ) and people say, "Well, as long as they don't come onto me...."

...And they never exactly finish.

Like what the hell are you going to do if I told you I found you attractive and wanted to take you out to lunch? Are you going to beat me up or call me a derogatory name?

'Oh she's a lesbian, she must fancy me!'

-End rant.

Update:  I think it's funny that there is a woman in my class who has a lesbian daughter, who in which is getting married.  Said woman said the above "Well, as long as they don't come onto me..."  People.  Just people.

Anyway, I read my piece and didn't die!!  Next week I get to write a piece on gay rights!  HELL YESSSSSS!  Things are looking up.  I have a lot to say about this topic!
