800,000 children are stolen from their families and pulled away from their parents every year. Hundreds of thousands of children are diagnosed with life-threatening diseases each day. Thousands of children are forced into drug dealing and child prostitution to survive.

Most of these children are merely a shooting star. They were bright, shining, and beautiful, until suddenly, they were gone and never to be seen again. There are some fairy tale children, those who are found or cured, but their ending is far from happily ever after.

These children and teens are brought to a home, unwanted by or unable to return to their parents, and now? They survive with the curse of neglect, of illness, and of the inability to trust.

Talk a wander throughout this facility. Learn the secrets that are held within the four walls of the new place these children will call home.

Maybe, just maybe, they’ll find peace. Or maybe, only more agony. Only time will be able to tell the future.

Serenity House was established in 1980, a halfway house for children of all sorts of tragic backgrounds. This facility strives to help these children heal and work towards a better future.
